Appearance. You have to look confident even if you're not yet, and gradually you'll get comfortable with yourself. You should dress in a way that makes you feel most comfortable, not something you're not used to just to appear confident. Try these:

  • Spend some time each day taking care of your personal hygiene so that you can improve your appearance. Take a shower every day, brush your teeth, floss, wash your face and hair.

  • Dress confidently. You don't have to buy a whole new wardrobe. Just being clean, comfortable and feeling good about yourself is confidence. After all, you can't deliver pizzas in a super formal suit. As long as you feel good, you must look good.

  • Your posture communicates a lot to others, so you need to have a confident posture. Keep your shoulders straight and your chin up. Sit up straight and walk with your chest up. Don't drag your feet. As long as you look confident, people will think so.

  • Smile. Small smiles go a long way, increase your likeability, ease the situation and make others feel better. No one wants to go near someone who is scowling.

  • Small changes can make a big difference in how people perceive you. Don't be afraid to make eye contact. Making eye contact shows that you are sincere, respectful, and interested in the topic.

  • If you see a guy in the corner pretending to be playing a mobile game, you're not going to go over and talk to him. If you want people to approach you, act approachable.

  • It says pay attention to eye contact, you should practice more. Some people are just as shy and uncomfortable with eye contact as you are. Try looking someone in the eye and seeing who looks away first. If they look away first, you can tell they're a little shy, too.

Be grateful. All you need to do is be grateful. The more you feel like you've gained, the more you think, "Well, life is pretty good." The only pity is that it is so easy to forget what we have. Take seriously that you have the body, the clothes, the talents, the people who love you, the future, but these are just the beginning. Most people probably have all of these things, but what else is unique about you?

Think positively. Reality, after all, is emotional. When you feel confident, then you feel confident. If life abandons you and you don't notice it, you're not abandoned at all. Do you understand now? So look on the bright side! This approach is not self-deception, and don't worry about falling into Pollyanna. You are just controlling your thoughts.

Positive thoughts can make you optimistic and more confident. When you think negatively, you'll become more aware of what's going on. This will form a habit and cause you to see "everything" in a negative light. Gradually, you will become a gossiper or complainer and assume the worst of things. All of this is pretty obvious. Be excited about who you are and don't be intimidated by limitations placed on you by your parents, community, or studies.
